Cannabis worth thousands of pounds have been seized after a raid by drugs police on a house in Denaby, near Rotherham
Police were granted a warrant and swooped on a house in Church Road, Denaby, after information from members of the public. Officers seized cannabis plants as well as seedlings worth around £4,000 and drugs equipment.
Sergeant Dave Cook said: “Drugs have an impact on the lives of residents and the local community and the execution of this warrant and recovery of drugs will hopefully assist in improving the quality of life for them.
“The information we receive from the public is vital to assist us in locating the properties and tackling the issue. I would continue to urge people to contact the police, or Crimestoppers anonymously, with any information or concerns they have in their area.”
