But, believe it or not, Barnsley has now been revealed as the Brussels sprout capital of England!
According to research the good people of the Borough ate almost 1.4 million of the mini cabbages this year.
In second place was the Spa town of Malvern, in Worcestershire, where residents ate 1,362,010 between October 2014 and September 2015.
