Barnsley Mayor Councillor Jeff Ennis welcomed everyone to the town and the Lord Lieutenant commended Active Response for their community initiatives which were having such a great impact.

Children from Churchfield Primary School in Cudworth stole the morning with presentations on Anti Bullying after viewing a 3D Video with the characters Buzzbee and his friend Freddie the Fly, created by Active as a learning tool to safeguard children.

The children were presented with certificates by Managing Director Michelle Bailey and the Lord Lieutenant.

Sharon Mughal of the BSIA presented Michelle Bailey with a Principal Members’ certificate saying “Active Response are a role model for our Industry”.

Michelle  told us: “Our business is based on positive partnerships. We felt privileged that the Lord Lieutenant was interested in our story. It was fitting that since my business was formed in my hometown of Barnsley that the Town Hall was the venue to meet with our partners”.
