Barnsley have completed the signing of 21-year-old Swansea City striker Oliver McBurnie on a season-long loan.
McBurnie (pictured) who started his career with Bradford City, made his Premiership debut with the Swans last year, and has been a substitute in all three of their fixtures so far this season.
He will continue on duty with the Scottish Under 21 squad before linking up with the Reds.
Speaking on the Oakwell Club’s website head coach Paul Heckingbottom said: “Oli is a player we targeted early in the summer. A Yorkshire lad, he will add height and a goal threat, as well as being an unknown quantity to Championship defences.”
