A side-splitting comedy line-up at The Civic

Coming up is an opportunity to have a jolly good laugh at The Civic with Toby Foster’s Last Laugh Comedy Club and Justin Moorhouse.

Loved by all, regular Barnsley visitor, comedian and Civic supporter, Toby is making a return with some of the best comedians from the UK and international circuit!

One of the longest running comedy clubs in Yorkshire, you can guarantee you’ll be splitting your sides with the best that comedy has to offer.

This December Toby (pictured) will introduce three top acts on the comedy scene, Sheffield comedian and star of BBC Radio 4 Tom Wrigglesworth’s Hang-Ups Tom Wrigglesworth, Sean Percival, a script writer, radio presenter and comedy speaker known for his work with Capital Radio in Birmingham and Brian Higgins the mad, hard-drinking ginger-haired Scotsman.

Also on the comedy scene, after multiple sell-out shows and rave reviews, everyone’s favourite northern charmer, Justin Moorhouse is bringing his ‘People and Feelings’ Tour to Barnsley.

As seen on Live at the Apollo, Phoenix Nights, The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4) and Fighting Talk (BBC 5Live) Justin is a little slimmer but still as “belly laugh funny” (Manchester Evening News).

Since touring last year’s show Destiny Calling, of which The Guardian said “the amount of first-rate comic craft that goes into his deceptively simple routines is worthy of admiration” he’s had a think about people. And feelings. About people Justin knows. Their feelings and how he feels about them. And they about him.

“He charms the pants off the crowd” Sunday times
