Barnsley Football Club have today signed Dani Pinillos from Spanish side, Cordoba.
It is a return to Championship football for the 25-year-old left-back, who had a successful two-year spell with Nottingham Forest before rejoining Cordoba.
During his time at Forest the six-footer made 35 starting line-up appearances.
The Oakwell Club has had him on the radar for some time and reported on its website ‘Pinillos possesses not only the defensive capabilities to strengthen Paul Heckingbottom’s back line, but the power, strength and pace to get himself up and down the wings in support of attacking moves too.’
As well as Sky Bet Championship appearances, Pinillos has made more than 150 senior appearances since making his debut at the age of 18-year-old.
He has signed a two-year contract.
