Reds sign teenage midfielder

Barnsley have signed 18-year-old midfielder Callum Styles from Bury and he has penned a four-year deal with an option for a further year. Both clubs have agreed that the player will return to Bury later this week on a loan deal until January 2019 before joining up with Barnsley’s first team squad for the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign.

Tuesday saw the third of seven 10 mile Birdwell Wheelers’ Club Time Trials at Park Springs, where John Woodhouse was first Wheeler home in 28m 20s, just 8 seconds ahead of Dave Hudson.
